Speaker Bio:
Mr. WF Leung, Founder of Artemis Digital Limited since 2016. His company is focus on digital learning and assessment systems for primary and secondary school students. His core system, The Youngest eBook Writer, has successfully registered technology patents in many countries. It is the first integrating self-directed learning and assessment for essay writing. Mr. Leung has a bachelor degree in Business Administration and Computer Science from Simon Fraser University in BC, Canada, and a MBA from Fudan University, Shanghai, China. Mr. Leung was senior executives in a few global MNC in North America and China. He was also the managing director of a publicly listed company in Hong Kong prior to his full-time engagement in Artemis Digital Limited.
Abstract:
The Youngest eBook Writer is a Digital Learning Platform.
It is applying internet, AI, and Big DATA to help students learning vocabularies and essay writing on a real-time online basis. The system integrates learning, teaching, and assessment in one digital platform.
The assessment is real-time to enhance the quality of the essays and use of vocabulary. More important, the real-time process is enabling the writer to learn more and better words NOW, but not delayed until the marking is finished a few days later. By then, the interest is about how good is the score but not the learning of the words involved.
The system has been in use for more than three years. Use of vocabularies have been improving years by years. More upgrades and expansions will be continued for the teaching and learning community.
