Emergency Procedures
Fire and Evacuation Emergency
1. The emergency numbers in Hong Kong are

2. If you detect fire or smoke, please activate the nearest fire alarm if possible and safe to do so. You have to leave the area of a fire immediately or leave the Conference venue, if necessary, by the nearest exit and avoid using lifts.
3. If you hear a fire alarm or a fire alarm evacuation announcement/instructions, please remain calm and alert. You should pay attention to and follow the announcements over the public address system or instructions by Conference staff and/or fire/police officials. Leave the Conference venue by the nearest exit and avoid using lifts.
4. If you encounter smoke in the stairway, please use alternate exits where available.
5. Please close the fire doors behind you.
6. Do not attempt to remove vehicles from parking garage or loading docks.
7. Once outside the Conference venue, stay clear of the exits and do not return until conditions are declared safe to do so by the fire/police officials.
Medical Emergency
1. Please call 999 and provide the exact location and detailed information when possible of the situation concerning injuries and the cause of any injuries.

2. Please remain in contact with the on-site Conference staff until emergency personnel have arrived. If you need further support in case of medical emergency, you may call (852) 2948 8901.
