Guidelines for Poster Presenters

Presenting authors should print their physical poster based on the requirements listed here. TEA Conference 2018 does not print posters on behalf of presenters.
Design and Layout

Sections mostly include (i) title; (ii) introduction/objectives/aims/problems/goals; (iii) methods; (iv) results; (v) conclusion; (vi) references; (vii) acknowledgements; and (viii) contact information.

Try to use graphics to convey most information. Place captions close to the graphics and leave space between sections.

Title should be large enough to be read from 10-15 feet.

Dark text on a light background is easiest to read.
Important Notes

All posters will be displayed at the Conference venue in a single, 30-minute session during the morning tea break (11:00 am – 11:30 am) on 9 February 2018 (Day 2 of the Conference). Poster presenters must be present with their poster during the session.

Presenters of each poster will be provided with a poster board area and mounting pins. Presenters are responsible for mounting their posters before their presentation and removing them when the session ends.

Please declare your attendance to the Conference staff at the registration counter and/or information desk during the morning registration on 9 February 2018.

No commercial activities or any advertising may be displayed on the posters. Non-compliance with this rule will result in the poster being removed.​

Presenters may also wish to provide sign-up sheets for attendees who may wish additional information.
