1. When any one the following weather warning signals is in force, all Conference programmes will continue to be held as scheduled, unless otherwise announced by the organiser:

Red Rainstorm Signal

2. When Tropical Cyclone Signal No. 8 (or above) or Black Rainstorm Signal is in force prior to the Opening Hours of the Conference Programme, the following arrangements shall apply:​​

Morning Session
Tropical Cyclone Signal No. 8 (or above) or Black Rainstorm Signal is in force at or after 6:30am
Tropical Cyclone Signal No. 8 (or above) or Black Rainstorm Signal is lowered before 11:00am
All afternoon activities will be resumed at 2:00pm in the scheduled order.
Afternoon Session
All morning activities (9:00am to 2:30pm) will be suspended.
All afternoon activities (2:00pm - 5:40pm) will be suspended.
Tropical Cyclone Signal No. 8 (or above) or Black Rainstorm Signal is in still in force by 11:00am
3. When Tropical Cyclone Signal No. 8 (or above) or Black Rainstorm Signal is in force during the Opening Hours of the Conference Programme, the following arrangements shall apply:
Action to be Taken
All programmes will continue until the end of that session, unless the organiser announces that session be suspended.
Black Rainstorm Warning is issued
Tropical Cyclone No. 8 (or above) is issued
All programmes will be suspended immediately and contingency arrangement will be announced.
