Submission Guideline

The Technology-Enhanced Assessment Conference 2018 (TEA Conference 2018) Organising Committee would like to invite your abstract submissions to the Conference in the following sub-themes:

  1. Assessment of, for, and as Learning

  2. Big Data

  3. Blended Learning and Flipped Classrooms

  4. Computerised Adaptive Testing

  5. Education Robotics

  6. Kinetic Chain Assessment and Learning

  7. Mobile and Tablet Learning

  8. Social Media/Networking in Education

  9. STEAM Education

  10. Technology and Education

  11. Web-based Collaborative Problem Solving

  12. 3D Applications and Virtual Reality in Education

 

Abstracts in other sub-themes relating to technology-enhanced assessment will also be considered.
 

General guidelines

  • Each group of participants can submit a maximum of two (2) pieces of abstracts.

  • Please designate a Corresponding Author for each abstract submission. The abstract should be submitted by the Corresponding Author. All email correspondences will be made to the Corresponding Author.

  • The Corresponding Author has to ensure that all co-authors are aware of the content of the abstract before submission.

 

Abstract Preparation

  • The abstract should be written in either English or Chinese.

  • APA style should be followed.

  • Each piece of abstract should be confined to 200 to 250 words (references excluded).

  • Please include the study aim, methods and key findings in the abstract.

 

Abstract Selection and Presentation

  • All submitted abstracts will undergo peer review, coordinated by the TEA Conference 2018 Organising Committee.

  • Abstracts for oral presentation should be submitted on or before 5:00 pm, 15 December 2017 (Friday). The Corresponding Author will be notified of the result of the submitted abstract by 29 December 2017 (Friday) by email.

  • Abstracts for poster presentation should be submitted on or before 10 January 2018 (Wednesday). The Corresponding Author will be notified of the result of the submitted abstract by 19 January 2018 (Friday) by email.

  • Successful authors will be invited to present at the TEA Conference 2018. Please REGISTER HERE and read the Guidelines for Oral Presenters and/or Guidelines for Poster Presenters.

  • All abstracts accepted for presentation will be published in the Conference proceedings.

  • If authors wish to withdraw their abstracts from presentation or publication, they have to send a letter via email to the TEA Conference 2018 Organising Committee before 31 December 2017.
